Coastal Delmarva,Virginia and the Carolinas at times can be quite mild in November. Relying on the weather will be a key just prior to your trip. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so you dont have to spend most of your trip behind the wheel. Brows rvparkreviewsand check mainly to see whats open. Enjoy your trip.

Thats the right stuff. Glad to see you are doing it the right way. Alot of folks just get the flush. JMO, but I would rather drop the pan and see if there is any metal filings etc which may show a problem that you would not find with a flush.

We are hoping you had some luck this weekend. We walked around a bit Friday night around 7-8. We were going to introduce ourselves but I didn't see you at the site. There sure were alot of folks down. We wish you and your family the best. I had to work this weekend otherwise I would have stopped down during the day. Hope to see you in our travels, with Poptart.

We may stop by but we are staying at Travel Park this year. Our friends Bill & Hedi will be there at Oceans with their Cardnal 5th wheel,(they used to have a Monoco motor home). 9 weeks before we leave on 12/17. Can't wait !! Randy

Weathershak, I think I remember you in a pop-up with blankets covering the pop-up 4 years ago. Then a hybread followed by a hardside trailer. New puppy 2 years ago ?
We have done Myrtle Beach for the last 10 years at Christmas and now do 2 weeks. Have stayed at both Ocean Lakes and Travel Park. 840 miles (16 hours) from Jackson, MI. Ocean Lakes would be better for kids as Travel Park has more retirees that spend the winter. Much less going on but closer to shopping centers so it all depends on what you want to do. Both are very nice facilities with indoor pools. Randy
That would be me.:) WELL HI NEIGHBOR, Yes, the pop-up was achallenge those years, especially with the ocean front site.. We will be in the 2000 section up front again this year. We have reserved for 2 weeks but will have to shorten it a bit. I am looking forward to seeing all the regulars again this year. We also will be bringing down our pooch Shadow again, Along with new wiener dog Mia.:S Time for a bigger TT. Hmmmmm:h a pop-up to a hybrid to a TT to a Prevost maybe:W SEE YOU THERE AND SAFE TRAVELS

I wish I had some pictures to show you. I made steps out of 3/8 plywood in sections that would slide onto the metal steps and would be supported by them.They were very light and easy to handle. I then made a floater bottom piece that would just sit on the ground. I was then able to shim the bottom step if the area was un level. It works out great, takes seconds to set up and I store it right inside the door when we travel. Sorry again about no pictures.(I need to setup with photobucket)

This will be our 5th year spending Christmas and New Years at Ocean Lakes. We always get the concrete pad and Ocean front site. All sites have WES,20,30,50 amp service, cable tv and phone line. They have alot of activities, even during that time.We look forward to the scavenger hunt,Bingo,Mini golf,large arcade,places to eat, and enjoy the heated indoor pool very much.We always rent a golf cart also. It is not crazy there like the summer time and the temps are not bad.They have a Polar Bear swim also on New Years Eve. I always walk thru Lakewood and Pirateland that time of year and not much is happening other then the pool at Lakewood being open. As far as trips, Broadway at the Beach is always a hit along with Ripleys Aquarium. Hope to see you down there and have a safe trip!!!

I would if I could, even in a PU. Some people think when it gets a bit cold outside, then its time to park the RV and Hybernate. Don't let a little cold air or snow stop you. Just leave your swim suit at home..:)

Do you hear a clicking sound when you turn on the fridge and or heater, you should hear the igniter clicking, if not, maybe a fuse. Good luck.
